Hello everyone,
in the OBD1 course we
have received the task to write a blog about our aims in the studies of English.
I have chosen this specialization about teaching of English at this university just
for one reason. I like English and I would like to improve myself in this well-known
language. I guess that my ambitions about teaching are not that old. I’ve
realized this during my high school studies. I know that teaching in these
times is not easy. Children are getting rude and they hate school and learning.
But their future is in their own hands and they have to realize which
priorities they have. I hope that I can get over these problems. Anyway if
teaching wouldn’t be ‘dreamy’ profession for me, maybe an idea of career as a
translator sounds great to me, as well. I heard that if you have luck and of
course you are good at this, it could be well paid. However career as a flight
attendant is also interesting and I would be able to discover beautiful parts
of the world, meet new interesting people, cultures and so on. But who knows
which job I will choose in the future. The situation at these times is so bad with
economy, society and you can have Bachelor or Master’s degree but it doesn’t
mean you will work in the field of your study. However my actual situation is
to focus on my English studies at this university, learn some new tips and
tricks on how to improve my English and well, just do my best. I hope that I will
be successful at this point.
